Wellbeing

“Wellbeing is integral to learning excellence and ultimately to overall health and life success. Catholic schools value, celebrate and serve diverse communities by honouring the histories, cultures, traditions and unique learning and support needs of each child.”

MACS Wellbeing Foundation Statement

At Resurrection Catholic Primary School, we believe that it is essential to educate the whole child. We acknowledge that all students are different and we actively celebrate each individual student’s differences. We aim to provide an environment where all can develop socially, emotionally, academically and intellectually to reach their fullest potential.

Resurrection Catholic Primary school promotes the mental health and wellbeing of all. We believe that good mental health is vital for learning and life, therefore children who are mentally healthy are better able to meet life’s challenges. Part of our commitment is to explicitly teaching Social and Emotional Learning which we do through The Resilience Project (theresilienceproject.com.au)

Resurrection Primary school follows the PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning) framework and the values of Respect, Resilience and Responsibility are used to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
